Home to approximately 6,000 Arkansans (2000 Census), the Upper Black watershed lies within the White River Basin in Northeast Arkansas.  The hydrologic unit code for this watershed is 11010007.  There is no upstream watershed.  The Lower Black (11010009) is downstream.
