Home to approximately 68,000 Arkansans (2000 Census), the Middle White watershed lies within the White River Basin in Northern Arkansas.  The hydrologic unit code for this watershed is 11010004.  There are upstream watersheds:  Bull Shoals Lake (11010003), Buffalo (11010005), and the North Fork White (11010006).  The Upper White-Village (11010013) is downstream.
